I took my camera out for a walk around the neighborhood this morning. The tulips and fruit trees are loving the cool but gentle spring we've had. The architecture of Denver's Highland neighborhood makes for some great compositions.

Some more mid-winter views of downtown Denver. I love how the low angle of the sun makes for interesting shadows and reflections. This set features the rail bridges across Cherry Creek, the newly crane-less 1800 Larimer building, the Cultural Center, and the temporary enclosures on the Voorhies Memorial in Civic Center Park.

5th Annual Classic Aircraft and Car Show
Front Range Airport held its Fifth Annual Classic Aircraft and Car Show on Saturday, August 29, 2009. This year's event was a huge success with twice as many exhibitors and attendees than last year, including over 100 Mustangs.

The Highland Bridge
The new pedestrian bridge over the Valley Highway at 16th Street was opened on 12/15/2006. The Highland Bridge is the third of three pedestrian bridges that link downtown Denver with the Highland neighborhood and all of northwest Denver.
